Full Description

The REMS Curvo is a universal, compact electric tool for cold bending of pipes and tubes up to 180°. Offering fast and easy wrinkle-free bending, the Curvo can be used instantly. The speed ranges between fast and creep for more precise bending. The device can be used anywehre at the workshop or at the job site without the need for a vice.

The Curvo has the ability to bend hard, half-hard, soft copper tubes, also thin-wall Ø 10mm – 35mm, 3/8 – 1 3/8”; coated soft copper tubes, also thin-wall Ø 10mm – 18mm; pipes of press fitting systems made of stainless steel Ø 12mm – 28mm; carbon steel (coated) tubes Ø 12mm – 28mm; soft precision steel tubes Ø 10mm – 28mm; steel pipes DIN EN 10255 (DIN 2440) Ø ¼ – ¾”; electric conduit DIN EN 50086 Ø 16mm – 32mm; and multi-layer composite tubes Ø 14mm – 40mm.

The drive unit is equipped with maintenance-free gear and safety slipping clutch along with a universal motor 230 V or 110 V, 50–60 Hz, 1000 W, with a stepless electronic safety switch, right and left-hand rotation, and insert bolt.

The Curvo can be used for a variety of applications, including sanitary, heating, air conditioning, refrigerating, and hydraulic. It is also specially suited for tubes of pressfitting systems, for hard and half-hard copper tubes, and for thin-walled copper heating tubes according to DIN EN 1057.

Only one type of bending and back formers is required for the Curvo, so there's simple, inexpensive stocking. No confusion is possible. The bender cost is recovered after a small number of bends. There are no costs for fittings, storage, or procurement. You'll experience savings in soldering joints, pressing joints, and working hours. There's also higher safety due to fewer pipe joints.
